We are an independent Anesthesiology practice. Your surgeon has specifically chosen our dedicated team to provide your anesthetic services to ensure you receive the best, state-of-the-art anesthesia care possible. Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiologists, IAA’s highly trained and skilled anesthesia physicians work closely with your surgical team, as well as our certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs). Together, we will provide you with ongoing comfort and safety throughout your procedure.

Rest assured that IAA’s Anesthesiologists will be monitoring and caring for you closely before, during, and after your procedure.

Prior to your procedure, IAA will discuss your anesthetic treatment options and document your allergies, personal and family medical history, and all other information important for your anesthetic safety. Our team is trained to minimize anesthetic risk by determining the type and amount of anesthesia appropriate for you and your procedure while employing the most up-to-date delivery techniques, pain management approaches and methods available. Once your anesthetic treatment plan is developed, we will review the plan with you and answer any questions or concerns you or your family may have prior to your procedure. Many of the IAA anesthesiologists working at our outpatient centers have advanced anesthesia training, including specialists in Pediatric and Regional Anesthesiology. If you or your loved one needs a Pediatric Anesthesiologist or is a candidate for a Regional Anesthetic (nerve block), rest assured that your IAA anesthesiologist will be able to provide you with the care that best suits you and your surgeon’s needs. If a nerve block is planned, we will explain what that entails, what you should expect, and how it will benefit you.
