Integrated Anesthesia Associates (IAA) is pleased to announce that on June 1st, 2023, anesthesiologist Trevor Sutton, MD, MBA, CPE., was presented with the inaugural Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine Promotion of Equity, Inclusion, Diversity, and Anti-Racism Faculty Award.

Dean Boiselle and the event’s additional presenters thanked Dr. Sutton for serving as an example to our entire QU Netter community and for advancing their values of diversity and inclusivity. This award celebrates QU Netter faculty who have demonstrated dedication to promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and/or anti-racism. Commitment to these values may be demonstrated in the direct teaching of learners and/or in the care of patients and communities, advocacy, and scholarly activities.

The evening’s event was attended by QU Netter faculty. IAA wishes to congratulate Dr. Sutton on this outstanding achievement, for serving as an example to the QU Netter and HHC communities, and for his continuing important work and leadership through IAA’s DEI Committee initiatives.
